Who's Your Mama?
Built by Mom is Angela Henderson, a certified geek-mom in Grover Beach, California. A Cal State graduate, I’ve been working on computers and designing websites since 1996. The mom part came about in early 2003, when I had my first children, an adorable set of twin girls. Yes, I am a very busy lady!
A Little Background
I wasn't always a geek. A little over a dozen years ago I was deeply frightened of computers, and it wasn't until I started college that my love-hate relationship moved to the mostly love category. It was then I discovered how much fun it could be to customize my new digital world, and I worked hard to learn how to work with websites, programs and hardware at every opportunity. So while I am much more comfortable with computers than I was a decade and a half ago, I understand fear and loathing of computers—I’ve been there!

Website Design – You don't need to spend thousands for a professional-looking website. Whether you need a site for your business, organization or just a place to post your journal, I can help. Computer repair and upgrading – I can troubleshoot just about any PC misbehavior, including virus, trojan and spyware trouble. Some of the upgrades I can do include adding or switching drives, adding memory(RAM), and installing operating systems and programs. I leave the complicated stuff like network and server troubleshooting to the Super Geeks, and the benefit to you is it keeps my rates low.
Wireless and networking - I can set up a wired or wireless network in your home. I am trained by the Cisco Academy at Hancock College.
Used systems - I sell refurbished computers at afforable prices that I customize just for you, with none of the bloatware that comes preinstalled on big box-store computers. Most of my systems are very affordable --$200 or less.
Tutoring – I can help you hone your computer skills or show you the basics of internet navigation, sending email, basic word processing, etc. $25 an hour gets you the help you need to show the computer who's boss. Note: may be slightly higher if you would like me to fix some things while I am at it.

I also love photography. Though my primary interest is landscapes and natural settings, I have done many shoots for clients, including weddings. I have a portfolio here, and some free wallpapers are featured on the tips and free stuff page.
